Welcome to St. Michael School!
A Tradition of Excellence Since 1894
St. Michael School is a Catholic community where we shape saints and scholars. Students can enroll at three years old in our Academy of Angels Preschool and remain part of our Defender family through the eighth grade. Our faculty is made up of 60 full and part-time staff members who nurture students spiritually, socially, and academically. The call to vocational life is witnessed by our students through the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and the Diocesan priests and deacons who serve in our school and parish.

Some of our History:
St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Parish was founded in 1834, we serve as the only Roman Catholic Parish in Hancock County. Comprised of over 3,200 families, St. Michael is the home of a dynamic PreK-8th Parish School, averaging 450 students. Our school includes a mission of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. |
