EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM

Due to staffing issues, effective Monday, September 22, 2025 the following changes to Extended Day are in place until further notice.
(1) Extended Day in the mornings is no longer available;
(2) Extended Day for 2-Hour Delays is no longer available;
(3) Extended Day for School Cancellations is no longer available.
Extended Day in the afternoons, from the end of the school-day until 5:55, is still available as usual.
We are prioritizing the afternoons because that is where a majority of the demand and utility are.

It is our desire to provide a service to the working parents of children who attend our school. We will provide:
- an extension of the regular school day that is structured and organized, but
- FREE time as well as an opportunity to begin their homework.
- a secure, cheerful environment for the children by offering supervision, snack and times for play and work.
Our objectives include the elements of enhancing a positive self-esteem, developing social skills, and teaching lifelong values such as responsibility, organization, and cooperation. A ratio of one supervisor per 14 children will be adhered to.
