established classical high school, the Saint Michael the Archangel Chesterton Academy. The

Principal will begin his or her tenure with Saint Michael School on or around July 1, 2026, pending

SMS NOW HIRING:

Kindergarten Readiness Teacher

St. Michael School is seeking a full time Early Childhood Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing, stimulating, age- and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role offers the opportunity to make an impact on young children’s early learning experiences and prepare them  academically, socially and emotionally for kindergarten. The classroom teacher will promote a love of learning by encouraging curiosity and building confidence within a supportive and collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

-Must have at minimum Early Childhood Education degree; Bachelor’s degree, Ohio teaching license and experience with early learning preferred, but not required

-Mandatory FBI/BCI background check

-Willingness to complete state mandated certifications

-Complete the VIRTUS online program for youth protection

-Strong communication and collaboration skills

St. Michael School is seeking teacher’s aides for our Kindergarten Readiness program for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will be dedicated and compassionate assistants to support the development and education of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The assistant will collaborate closely with lead teachers to implement lessons, manage classroom activities, and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Prior experience with early childhood care is highly valued.

-High school diploma required; experience with preschool age children preferred
