Intervention Specialist

St. Michael the Archangel School is a Catholic K–8 school in Findlay, Ohio, guided by our mission to shape saints and scholars. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and highly qualified full-time Intervention Specialist to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate universal screening, progress monitoring, and school-wide data analysis through an MTSS framework
• Deliver evidence-based reading and mathematics interventions through individual and small-group instruction
• Develop and monitor individualized student support plans including SAPs and SMAPs
• Partner with teachers, families, Findlay City Schools, and Diocese of Toledo representatives to ensure coordinated student support
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and diocesan requirements

What We're Looking For

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license
• Knowledge of MTSS, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based intervention practices
• Experience with structured literacy approaches such as Orton-Gillingham and Heggerty a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• A sincere commitment to the mission of Catholic education; an active, practicing Catholic in good standing is strongly preferred

Teacher Aides K-2

St. Michael School in Findlay is seeking teacher aides for our K-2 classrooms for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will be dedicated and compassionate assistants to support the development and education of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The assistant will collaborate closely with lead teachers to implement lessons, manage classroom activities, and foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

-High-school diploma

-Successful background checks and completion of Virtus training

-Willingness to obtain Aide Certification

-Support the mission of our Catholic school

-Experience working with young children is preferred
