What Is Shopping For Dollars
Shopping for Dollars is St. Michael’s chosen fundraising program. Money raised by "shopping for dollars" will be used to fund various school programs. School children will not be asked to participate in any other school wide fundraisers (i.e. NO dreaded candy, wrapping paper and magazine sales). There is absolutely no out of pocket cost to participant in "shopping for dollars". Participants pay face value for the gift certificate, and St. Michael School receives a rebate from participating stores. By doing your daily/weekly shopping using these certificates, St. Michael School benefits There are 3 easy ways you can participate: Monthly Standing Orders are available from a limited selection of local vendors. Amounts are charged to your credit card or electronically transferred from your checking account. PLUS Orders are placed every week and are available to over 80 different stores as listed on the order form. Additional stores are available by request or online at www.glscrip.com. Visit the School office where there are limited quantities of these certificates. Call the office for availability and participating stores. Orders are available to you via school pick up or mailed on a monthly basis. This program is available to everyone, anywhere in the United States. School families, parishioners, friends, neighbors and relatives all across the United States can make a contribution to our school children. We will gladly mail Shopping for Dollars certificates to anyone out of town that wishes to support our school. The gift certificates are redeemable nationwide at all participating stores! Payment must accompany order and must be received at the school office by 8:30 a.m. on the order date. Return the forms to the school office, Sunday collection or by mail.
